1 - Which are Colosseum opening times?

Colosseum opening times are the following:

● 8.30 am – 4.30 pm: from the last Sunday in October until February 15th.
● 8.30 am – 5.00 pm: from February 16th until March 15th.
● 8.30 am – 5.30 pm: from 16th March until the last Saturday in March.
● 8.30 am – 7.15 pm: from the last Sunday in March until August 31st..
● 8.30 am – 7.00 pm: from September 1st until September 30th.
● 8.30 am – 6.30 pm: from October 1st until the last Saturday in October.

It is closed only on January 1st, December 25th.

2 - How long does a tour usually last?

Classic tour includes the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine hill and lasts about 3 hours. For more information, please refer to duration item as indicated in any tour page.

3 - How much is it to get into the Colosseum Rome?

The price of tickets depends on the areas of the Colosseum you would like to visit. You can find ticket price indicated in every single product page.

4 - Where can I buy the official Colosseum tickets?

Despite this is not the official website of the Colosseum, you can buy tickets at the same price as on official website or at Colosseum ticket offices. Official tickets are embedding parts of packages you can find on this website.

5 - Is there any dress code to enter the Colosseum?

There are no dress codes to respect. We only recommend you to wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

6 - Are there metro stations near the Colosseum?

Yes, the Colosseo metro station on Line B (Blue) in just in front of the Colosseum.

7- Do I need to buy tickets for the Colosseum in advance?

We recommend you to book your Colosseum tickets in advance, especially during peak seasons, as not to risk tickets sold out.

8 - Can I take a bag inside the Colosseum?

All visitors must pass through a security check that includes a metal detector. Big purses and large luggage are not permitted inside the Colosseum.

9 - Can I explore the sites on my own once my Colosseum tour is over?

No, during guided tours it is not possible, but don’t worry, you will have enough time to explore and take photos of every location you will visit.

10 - What is the fastest way to get from St.Peter's Basilica to Colosseum?

Well connected by metro, you will go faster and certainly cheaper than a taxi. You can change from Blue line to Orange in Termini Station and stop at Ottaviano metro station (Musei Vaticani). It takes approximately 25 min.

11 - What is the difference between skip-the-line tickets and a guided tour?

Skip-the line tickets will let you enter into the Colosseum while avoiding wasting your time in the line, however you will have to organize the time and the route by yourself. During the guided tour you will have a sightseeing program that lets you enjoy each hidden sight. It is organized with one of our engaging guides that will gladly answer your questions.

After completing the booking process, you will receive a confirmation email along with all information regarding your tour.

14 - Do I need to print my voucher for the tour?

You do not need to print your voucher, with your booking confirmation by email is just enough.

15 - Can I modify or cancel my tour?
